With their stomping, kick-in-the-balls, heavily Motorhead influenced sound, ‘The Midnight Rebels’ are dragging rock n roll kicking and screaming into 2007. Songs such as ‘Friends Like These’, ‘Till the Death’ and ‘Rock and Roll’ showcase their ability to get a crowd going, if slowly. Throughout their 45 minute set, energetic riff driven bursts of pure power are delivered complete, with tempo changes, mood swings and an eccentric performance from their vocalist; whereas Viking Skull largely failed to bring Rock and Roll into the 21st Century, The Midnight Rebels will succeed.
