This really needs a lot of practice. There’s no disputing that there are some very competant musicians here; the guitarist clearly became more and more confident after almost nailing ‘Sweet Child O’Mine’ (not a good idea to put this in the beginning of your set if you aren’t very confident) to playing the fun punk of their own song, ‘The Blue Hat Song’. There were a lot of covers here, some that didn’t suit their sound; yes, they are showing their influences, but a guy singing ‘Hate to Say I told You So’, with the voice of Lemmy from Motorhead isn’t going to go down too well. With some slips in keeping in time and some wrong notes, the main thing here is practice. And they should also play more of their own stuff. Because their own stuff sounds so much better than many of their covers.
