Gig Reviews

For some reason I expected this band to be something special. The apparent professionalism. The hair cuts. The finesse of a cordless guitar. Unfortunately…once all of this was stripped away, not a lot was left. A very 80s sound done well, but it did get wearing after a while, especially as the songs became less well structured and just, well, worse. A cover of the Beatles’ classic ‘Come Together’ was a decent attempt, but didn’t really do it justice at all. And ‘Pinball Wizard’ was only good because it is very difficult to mess that up. However, it is worth mentioning the drummer. Such a happy guy. And still amazing after several oceans of Jack Daniel’s.
